Arohann is a contemporary luxury brand rooted in the centuries-old craft of Banarasi handloom. The brief was clear: build a brand that respects the quiet dignity of the artisan while positioning the product firmly in a modern, global luxury context. Instead of leaning into nostalgia or overt ethnic cues, we focused on restraint—letting the craft speak without romanticising it. The brand narrative was shaped around time, patience, and human touch, treating each sari not as a product, but as a cultural artefact in motion.

The visual identity was designed to feel calm, precise, and intentional much like the weaving process itself. Typography, colour, and layout were kept understated, creating space for texture and detail to take centre stage. A key challenge was translating a deeply tactile, hands-on craft into a digital first brand experience. To solve this, we used close, process-led visuals and slow compositions that mirror the rhythm of weaving, ensuring the brand never felt loud, rushed, or decorative for the sake of it.
